A German Silver Large Two-Handled Vase, georg roth & co., hanau, late 19th century, raised on a trumpet form foot chased with bands of leaf-tips and engraved with initial W, the body pierced and chased with acanthus, running grapevine and classical maidens playing musical instruments and dancing, with leaf-capped upswung scroll handles, silver marked on base rim; 62 ozt 7 dwt. Height 17 1/2 inches. Estimate $ 1,200-1,800 *Please note the updated estimate* Update: missing glass liner. one maiden bent at skirt but could be easily fixed. section of foot rim approx 4 inches in length is bent under but does not affect leaf decoration. please request additional photographs. base rim needs a little straightening near marks, base with a few light scuffs, grapevine border with one small split, otherwise body and rim handles in good condition
