A German silver coffee-pot Mark of Jacob Schenck, Hamburg, circa 1723 Tapering cylindrical and on three wooden bun feet, the body with dropped base, with curved spout, moulded borders and detachable domed cover with part wood finial, the base engraved with inscription, marked on base, below Dutch legal silver standard 21 cm. high gross 324 gr. The inscription reads ' Nicolaus Krohn 1723'
