A George II pine chimney piece circa 1750 in the manner of Matthias Lock with a break front outline with leaf and floral carved decoration above the frieze centred with a tablet depicting a mask head within a sunburst flanked by flowers and foliage, with a vitruvian scroll below, the jambs surmounted by mask heads with flowing beards above garlands of trailing foliage, on replaced plinths 168cm. high, 218cm. wide, 18cm. deep; 5ft. 6 ¼ in., 7ft. 2in., 7in.
