A GEORGE II MAHOGANY CABINET MID-18TH CENTURY The foliate-carved triangular pediment above a patera and entrelac -carved frieze, above a pair of rope-twist panelled doors cornered by shells and rosettes, and centred by a large acanthus roundel, enclosing three adjustable shelves, the similarly-decorated lower section fitted with two adjustable trays, on shaped ogee feet, the interior of each door carved with the arms of the Dean and Chapter, a 'D' above crossed swords, the press trays probably associated, feet trimmed 29 in. (239 cm.) high; 51 in. (130 cm.) wide; 21 in. (53.5 cm.) deep
