A Gemstone Carving of a Kingfisher, Idar-Oberstein, Germany, depicting the colorful Kingfisher bird in exacting detail, the head and wings carved of Persian turquoise, the beak in black nephrite jade, the captured fish of carnelian agate, the cheeks and belly formed from rare orange eosite agate, the eyes inset with hand painted accents, the legs of silver vermeil, standing upon a white calcite specimen.
