A French silver-mounted Imari porcelain pot pourri vase, the porcelain, China, circa 1700, the silver mounts, Paris, 1717-1722
painted in underglaze blue, iron red and gilt with vases of flowers and bamboo, the pot mounted with a silver rim chased with strapwork and foliage enclosing fanciful birds, the cover with matching finial mount and bud finialheight 67 in.; 17,1 cm.__________________________________________________________________________

peint en bleu sous glaçure, rouge de fer et doré avec des vases de fleurs et de bambous, le pot monté en argent ciselé d'entrelacs et de feuillages entourant des oiseaux fantaisistes, le couvercle avec une monture assortie et une prise en boutonheight 67 in.; 17,1 cm.Condition reportSome light general surface wear, slight rubbing to gilding and expected firing imperfections.There is a ca. 9 cm hairline to the cover otherwise overall good condition. The silver mounts in overall good condition. The finial and the neck rim slithgly dent. MARKS : Discharge and contremarque (dragonfly) on cover rim, finial rim and on neck rim. Discharge also on every gadrooned orifice.
