A French Neoclassical Gilt Bronze and Marble Mantel Clock 19th century the temple form case surmounted by a handled urn with a pomegranate finial, the circular enameled dial with Roman numeral hours and Arabic numeral minutes, signed Berger Jeune/ a Nimea, set on supports with female mounts allegorical of the harvest, the whole raised on a rectangular base ending in disk feet. Height 20 3/8 x width 13 3/8 inches. Estimate $1,000-1,500 Gilt metal plaque pictured on left front of base in catalogue photo is detached and not retained. Clock works appear intact, takes a wind and runs while striking on the half-hour and hour. Bell detached, screw to attach bell not present. Not tested for accuracy or duration.
