Parquer Fecit, Dated 18(?)6Of pistol form, with large indicator wheel signed and dated on one side and numbered from '1' to '14' on the other, mounted on a pillar carrying an indicator point on one side, operating against a large spring with thumb-lever, and with circular anvil fitting against the top of the brass chimney above the touch-hole, plain sharply-pointed tang, flat bevelled lock with brass pan and pierced cock, figured full stock with rounded butt, trigger-plate with pointed finial, and exposed trigger; together with another of similar form, 19th century, with figured stock, and earlier steel mounts including engraved spurred pommel and side-plate pierced with foliage involving figures and a serpent's head (some wear and rust patination) (2) 30.2 cm. and 30 cm.FootnotesProvenance The first sold in these Rooms, Fine Antique Arms and Armour from the Henk L.
