A freelance well engineered model of a live steam beam engine, built by Mr D Russell of Frazerburgh. The beam supported on reeded central column and having Watts parallel motion, the single cylinder with a 1 inch bore and 2 inch stroke being lagged in hardwood with brass bands, eccentric driven inside slide valve and spoked flywheel 17cm diameter. The model finished in green paintwork and mounted on wooden plinth measuring 27cm x 8cm. Overall height 26cm.
