A FOUR-CASE LACQUER INRO Signed Koma Kyoryu saku with a kao , Edo Period (18th Century) Decorated in gold and coloured lacquer and foil with a giant carp attempting to leap over a waterfall beside an ancient willow growing among rocks, the interior in togidashi-e with a repeated pattern of hanabishi , a stained ivory ojime carved with an octopus attempting to catch two fugu fish, some old wear 3in. (9.2cm.) high
