Beschreibung:

Round blackened 9 inch, .57 caliber smoothbore barrel; marked on center of breech with crown and with two lightly stamped ordnance marks on left side; rounded tang. Flat blued lockplate with double line border and reiforced cock; marked in center with crown over WR cypher and small ordnance mark; bridle with decorative engraving. Brass New Land Pattern furniture, steel swivel ramrod; steel belthook, finished bright, marked with crown. Walnut stock; marked on right side grip with large broad arrow over BO and with two small crown over 9 marks and a crown over 13, stamped behind sideplate TC for the stockmaker, and broad arrow over P. Condition: Excellent. Barrel and lock with very crisp markings and retaining much of original finish, now turning brown. Brass furniture with bright patina and coated to retain shine, some chipping to coating. Stock excellent and dry, original finish, some light scattered storage marks. See Illustration
