Flat lockplate with double line border and reiforced cock; marked in center with crown over WR cypher and small ordnance mark; bridle with decorative engraving. Brass New Land Pattern furniture, steel swivel ramrod; steel belthook marked with crown. Walnut stock; marked on right side grip with large broad arrow over BO and with two small crown over 9 marks and a crown over 13, stamped behind sideplate TC, the stockmaker, and broad arrow over P. Condition: Excellent. Barrel and lock with very crisp markings and retaining much of blue finish, now turning brown. Brass furniture with mellow to dark patina, some scratches and marks from use. Stock excellent, original finish, some scattered marks from use; chip missing forward of lock and a few scattered dents. See Illustration
