A FINE PALE CELADON JADE CARVED BOULDER qianlong Of tall slightly tapering form, well carved with a monk and attendant carrying a ribboned staff beside an elephant on a rocky mountainside amidst trees including pine and wutong and a stream below winding steps leading up to a figure holding a ruyi sceptre astride a Buddhistic lion below a cave pierced through the stone revealing a spray of lingzhi at the similarly carved reverse, the stone of very pale even tone with some areas of pale russet inclusions 8in. (20.5cm.) high
