A FINE PAIR OF IMPERIAL YELLOW-GROUND FAMILLE ROSE BOWLS DAOGUANG SIX-CHARACTER SEALMARKS AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850) Each finely potted with deep rounded sides rising from a slightly tapered foot to a flaring rim, the exterior finely and densely decorated with a continuous pattern of flowering peony, chrysanthemum, lotus and hibiscus, intertwined with scrolling foliage, all in brightly coloured enamels reserved on a rich yellow-ground, the interior painted with five bats in iron-red 7 1/4 in.
