A Fine pair of Early 19th Century English Wooden dolls turned and painted, with inset pupiless eyes and brown wig, dressed in contemporary outfits, the woman in Regional style purple wool open robe with brocade bodice and silk apron, cream wool underskirt, lace bonnet and knitted stockings embroidered with clocks -- 12½.in. (32cm.) high ; the man with brown, navy and cream wool jacket, cotton waistcoat, breeches and shirt, black silk tricorn hat stiffened with letter in French, socks and shoes -- 13in.
