A fine original Stuart Turner built live steam plant, mounted on original base board with Stuart plaque and comprising of a Stuart Turner live steam 'grass-hopper' half-beam engine having single cylinder with fitted outside steam valve, brass displacement oiler, open crank with eccentric link to steam valve, fitted 7 inch diameter spoked flywheel with small rope wheel and set on metal sole plate. The engine is driven by a Stuart Turner horizontal boiler with fitted water sight-glass, pressure gauge and gas fired probe with gas supply tank, cylindrical metal water storage tank and Stuart hand feed pump. Plinth 50cm x 40cm. * This model was built by Stuart Turner. Model details: Half Beam. Number HB-10021. Purchased from Stuart Turner direct on the 6th of September 2001 at a cost of £2,115.00.
