A fine early 20th-Century lacquered-brass and black enamelled binocular laboratory microscope, by Ernst Leitz Wetzlar Germany 288032 , the removable eyepiece section with calibrated eyepiece distance adjuster, draw-tube focusing to one eye, rack and pinion focusing to both and micrometer fine adjustment, with triple nosepiece, mechanical stage, adjustable substage condensor and plano-concave mirror, the main limb tilting via a joint with clamp to the horseshoe foot, with two 6x and two 10x Leitz eyepieces, a 3 (10x), a 6L (45x) and a 2 (100x) oil immersion Leitz objectives with japanned metal tins, in the original fitted cloth-covered case with leather carrying handle -- 13¾in. (34.9cm.) wide ; and a broken lacquered-brass compound monocular microscope by E. Leitz Wetzlar No.53231 with detached body-tube, triple nosepiece, substage condensor and plano-concave mirror and Leitz objectives 3, 7 and ½ oil immersion, in a mahogany case with carrying handle -- 13¼in.
