A fine cased unsigned double barrelled half stocked shot gun c 1850 with finely carved mounts. The butt with chin rest has a chequered neck and is carved with flowers, the unsigned lock has fine scroll, the twisted tip-off barrels are c 75,9 cm long in calibre c 16,5 mm marked crowned AF for Auguste Francotte in Liege, ELG above a star and 16,6. In the brass cornered wooden box lined with Bordeaux velvet a not original powder flask, en two-part cleaning rod, a nipple wrench, an oil flask, a tool for patches, a cleaning brush and a tin box for caps. Condition Four items missing in the case.
