A FINE CASED PAIR OF BELGIAN 60-BORE PERCUSSION TARGET PISTOLS FINISHED AND RETAILED BY GASTINNE-RENETTE, PARIS, SERIAL NOS. 41.1 2, CIRCA 1900 With blued octagonal sighted barrels each signed 'F N I PAR GASTINNE-RENETTE À PARIS', border and scroll engraved case-hardened breeches and tangs, the latter each incorporating the blued rear-sight, border and scroll engraved flat island locks each with stepped tail and blued pins, figured walnut half-stocks each with chequered butt, scroll engraved iron mounts including case-hardened pommels and blued spurred trigger-guards, and retaining nearly all their original finish throughout, Belgian proof marks, in original close-fitted oak case lined with green baize, the lid with gilt stamped signature 'GASTINNE-RENETTE PARIS', and retaining a full compliment of accessories including bullet-mould 10¼in. (26cm.) barrels
