George Graham London, number 759 The 12 inch square brass dial signed along the lower edge Geo: Graham, London, with double-screwed Indian mask spandrels and a silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring enclosing the large subsidiary seconds dial with blued steel hands and chamfered date aperture, the date ring with pin-hole adjustment, each of the four heavy dial feet latched to the the weight driven movement with substantial plates united by five massive knopped and latched pillars, with maintaining power to the going train with deadbeat escapement with long brass crutch and steel pin, with rack strike on a bell, numbered along the centre lower edge of the backplate '759', with a pair of later brass weights and a pendulum with brass rod and heavy lenticular brass-faced bob; now contained in a custom-made figured walnut case veneered on oak of classic proportions, with caddy top, pierced sound fret and brass mounted Doric columns over a rectangular trunk door with moulded edge on a tall base with double apron
