HOFFMANN, NO. 1949 The specification comprizing one pair of 7mm barrels and one pair of .22 (Hornet)/20-bore barrels, each fully-interchangeable The scroll-back treble-grip action-body with side-bolsters, the triggerplate-action of boxlock-form, manual safety, set-trigger, cocking-indicators, the action-body relief-engraved with scenes of Red deer and roe deer in their woodland habitats, the whole surrounded and invaded by oak leaves and acorns on a matt ground, horn triggerguard, boldly-figured stock with pistolgrip, fluted horn pistolgrip-cap, cheek-piece and horn butt-plate, sling-swivels, three-piece forend, each set of barrels sharing a Hensoldt-Wetzlar 'Dialyton 4x' telescopic-sight in quickly-detachable mounts, with matt sight-ribs, open-sights and wooden side-fillets, the telescope mounts with provision for the simultaneous use of the open-sights 13¾in. pull 7mm barrels:- Weight 8lb. 5oz.
