Manufactured 1879. Referred to as a Sheriff's Model, manufactured with short barrel, no provision for ejector rod or housing. Has a lovely period scroll and punch dot New York engraving. Matching numbers, nickel finish, and Colt black composite checkered grips. Has approximately 30% original nickel finish blending to gun metal grey as to give a higher overall appearance. Engraving is crisp. Frame has three line patent date. Traces of fire blue on hammer and trigger. Proper two line barrel address. Rotates and locks up double action but not working single action.
