British P61 Enfield short rifle made by Tower in 1868. In-the-white finished rifled round barrel with pinned blade front sight with stud for saber bayonet with rear graduated flip sight and British proofs at breech. Percussion lock with "Crown" and "Tower" over "1868". Walnut full musket stock with iron furniture including 2 barrel bands and original ramrod. CONDITION: Gun has been heavily cleaned with metal showing a gray silvery cleaned appearance. Wood has oil soaked appearance with usage marks and dings. Dark bore with good mechanics.
