A Danish Amager silver-gilt “hovedvandsæg” vinaigrette, heart shaped with filigree-work, the hinged cover with crowned oval medallion, flanked by angels, the medallion with later owner's initials and date TS PS 1890, the reverse with flower arrangement, the body set with two medallions, the base with standing lions and balm-hide, pricked with the date 1804. Indistinct maker's mark. Weight 95 g. H. 11.5 cm. Later fitted leather case with initials and date T.S.P.S 1890.
