for Henry Morrison Flagler, the rectangular box and lid built up in slot construction, and signed on one edge of the box lip Tiffany & Co. and Vermillion on the other, with a sterling oval lock escutcheon and back plate, a sterling silver hinge running the length of the box, a separate sterling silver box [liner] with separate top signed 12668/Tiffany & Co/Makers/T, an inset sterling silver initial plate engraved HMF, with a pair of sterling silver and enamel crossed signals on either side; to the right the New York Yacht Club burgee and Henry Morrison Flagler's private signal, and on the other a Rear Commodore's signal crossed with another (unidentified) yacht club burgee. 11-1/2 x 6-1/2 x 5-1/4 in.
