the drum case supported by four Corinthian columns, with pink and maroon gilt enamelled decoration, surmounted by a square platform, the cupola painted with classical maidens and signed A.Wher? supported on four corresponding dwarf columns and ball pedestal, the corners with knopped tiered ball finials, on square moulded plinth base with scenes of children and putti, the 2.75'' enamel dial with Roman numerals and pierced blackened steel hands, the brass twin train movement with vertical platform cylinder escapement and outside countwheel striking on a coiled steel gong, 51cm high, 18cm wide, 18cm deep
