Beschreibung:

A composite gadrooned circular cruet engraved with an armorial, crest and motto, pierced with quatrefoils and on claw and ball feet, with a spiral-twist stem with scroll handle and fitted with five cut glass condiment bottles, three with unmarked silver lids with compressed baluster terminals, the fourth with a non-matching lid with spiral-twist terminal, the fifth with an Edwardian cayenne pepper spoon, four of the bottles with reeded shaped oblong condiment labels engraved:"Anchovy, Cayenne, Chili, and Vinegar", two of the labels Victorian, the other two unmarked, the cruet basically by Edward Low, London 1773, but with hallmarked Victorian additions - 6¾in.
