1883 vintage Colt Single Action Army revolver, serial number 86034. 7 - 1/2" round barrel in .45 Long Colt with single line Colt Hartford, CT barrel address, blade front sight, and frame notch rear. Blackpowder frame with center pin retaining screw rather than traverse pin. Matching serial numbers observed on butt, trigger guard, frame, barrel underneath ejector rod housing, and cylinder. 1 piece plain walnut grips. CONDITION: Good, with iron assemblies turned a cleaned gray patina with traces of original bluing in protected areas and scattered pitting throughout. Grips are very good and retain a majority of their original finish with scattered denting and handling marks, especially on butt and on both grip panels near backstrap. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand and is tight. Bore is frosted with visible rifling. An honest Blackpowder frame SAA.
