1862 vintage Colt 1862 Pocket Navy percussion single action revolver, serial number 13177. 6 - 1/2" octagon barrel in .36 caliber with New York barrel address, hammer notch rear sight, and cone front. Matching serial numbers observed on butt, trigger guard, cylinder arbor, cylinder, barrel, and wedge. 1 piece plain walnut grips with brass trigger guard and backstrap. CONDITION: Good, with visible traces of original bluing underneath a gray patina on left side with splotchy, moisture related finish loss on right side. Brass components are a mellow, lightly cleaned patina. Grips are very good with handling marks throughout and a protective layer of finish added. Mechanically fine. Bore is good with abrasion throughout and well-defined rifling.
