L.I.), mounted as worn, nearly very fine and better (7) £450-500 Footnote The sons of Robert J. and A. Bradley of 20 Roseberry Crescent, Thornaby-on-Tees: William H. Bradley, 5th Battalion Durham Light Infantry, entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 17 April 1915. For his wartime bravery he was awarded the Military Medal (London Gazette 21 October 1918). He died in England on 25 April 1921, aged 27 years and was buried at Thornaby-on-Tees Cemetery. John Thomas Bradley was born in Great Ayton and living in Thornaby, enlisted at Stockton. With the 5th Battalion Durham Light Infantry he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 17 April 1915. He was killed in action on 30 July 1915, aged 23 years. He was buried in the Strand Military Cemetery, Comines-Warneton, Hainaut, Belgium. Sold with copied research.
