A collection of decorative racing prints and photographs, mostly framed, prints including Frith's Derby Day published by Eyre & Spottiswoode; various portraits of 19th century jockeys including G Barrett, J Watts, Charles Archer Thomas Goodison, Danny Maher etc.; a print of the "American Invaders" jockeys at the turn of the 20th century; a decorative issue after Isaac Cullen titled The Derby: Weighing Room Epsom; a stevengraph of Fred Archer in the Royal Colours in its original Victorian gilt-metal frame; a colourful 1891 print of 'Jockeys of the Day'; Vanity Fair prints of the jockeys Danny Maher, Frank Wootton & Fred Barrett; framed period photographs including two similar hand painted portraits of Victorian jockeys over photographic bases (one illustrated in the catalogue); Cameronian winning the 1931 Derby; Humourist with Steve Donoghue up; the 1949 Victoria Cup at Hurst Park; a dramatic image of a falling steeplechaser, and many other interesting items (a qty.)
