A Collection of Awards for the Boer War formed by Doug Jenkins Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 4 clasps, Natal, Relief of Mafeking, Transvaal, South Africa 1901 (736 S.Q.M. Sjt: C. H. B. Edenborough. Imp: Lt. Horse) good very fine £240-280 Footnote Charles Henry Bolton Edenborough was born in Hackney London, in October 1867, and served with the 1st Imperial Light Horse in South Africa during the Boer War. He was discharged on 4 March 1901, and died in Nigeria on 10 January 1912.
