(23cm.) long, carved soapstone stand; a soapstone group of eight galloping and rearing horses on a mountain path -- 9¾in. (24.7cm.) high; a further carving of the Eight Immortals in a tree boat -- 11in. (28cm.) long; a soapstone carving of Guanyin and attendants seated in a bamboo grove -- 10½in. )26.6cm.) high, fitted stand; a group of Budai seated amongst five boys -- 9¾in. (24.7cm.) wide; a carved soapstone Buddhistic lion seated on a rectangular base -- 6in. (15.2cm.) high; a mottled soapstone carving of a gentleman standing on a rockwork base beside a tiger -- 11¾in. (29.8cm.) high; and a carving of a boy seated on a large fish -- 15in. (38cm.) long, all 19th Century. (8)
