A Cased Pair Of 54-Bore Flintlock Box-Lock Pocket Pistols Signed Lill, Louth, circa 1825 With turn-off barrels engraved with a band of foliage at the muzzle, signed actions engraved on each side with a trophy of arms, raised pans, rollers, engraved thumbpiece safety-catches, blued folding triggers, flat-sided figured walnut butts (one with small crack), and silver escutcheons: in associated lined and fitted case with facsimile trade label of Wicks & Bishop, Goldsmiths & Jewellers, 170 New Bond Street, Birmingham proof marks 5¾in. (14.6cm.)
