A CASED PAIR OF 12-BORE 'ROYAL' SIDELOCK EJECTORS BY HOLLAND & HOLLAND, 98, NEW BOND STREET, LONDON, SERIAL NOS. 16509/10 With black nitro barrels (London reproof 1992) each signed 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND. 98, NEW BOND STREET, LONDON' and respectively numbered '1' and '2' in gold, 2½in. (65mm) chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl and ¼ choke, blued toplevers respectively numbered '1' and '2' in gold, automatic safeties each with gold-inlaid 'SAFE', locks with gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, underside of each action signed 'ROYAL HAMMERLESS EJECTOR', brushed bright finish, best bold Royal scroll engraving, finely figured 14¼in. replacement stocks by Karl Hauptmann (original stocks supplied) including 3/8in. rubber pad, gold escutcheons each engraved with the initial 'F', in Holland & Holland brass-cornered oak and leather case, the lid named to 'J.G.O.
