A cased late Victorian diamond set brooch pendant, c.1890, a central old European cut diamond, in a cut down collet, with scrolling ribbon to each side, all grain set with graduated old Swiss cut diamonds. A blade edge bar spray, milligrain set with old Swiss cut diamonds and flower heads set with diamonds. Diamond set laurel leaves below, with a further flower head and diamond pendant drop. A detachable diamond set bale and detachable brooch fitting. Tested as silver backed in gold. Fitted case by D&J Jewellery Ltd., Garrick St., London. Dimensions 69 x 40mm
