A Berlin (KPM) matt blue-ground pot-pourri vase and cover Circa 1820, underglaze blue sceptre mark, blue enamel triangle and orange dot and line marks The front applied with a white biscuit relief portrait by Leonhard Posch of Princess Louise of Prussia in profile to the right against an oval gilt vermiculé medallion, the ground on the reverse with gilt ciselé decoration with a tazza of fruit supported by large fronds of scrolling foliage issuing further scrolling foliage, the lower part with a gilt band of berried myrtle, the waisted circular foot edged with gilt ciselé down-turned stiff leaves on a richly gilt square plinth base, the domed cover with twelve circular apertures within a broad gilt band rim, the pierced basket finial enclosing a large aperture (restored section to finial, chip to underside of plinth corner at back, areas of very slight wear to gilding) 9¾ in. (25 cm.) high
