A 25-BORE BRASS-BARRELLED FLINTLOCK PISTOL SIGNED LONDON, EARLY 19TH CENTURY With slightly swamped barrel signed 'LONDON' at the breech, engraved iron tang, flat bevelled bolted lock with stepped-tail, raised pan and roller, walnut full stock with flat-sided butt, brass mounts including engraved trigger-guard with pineapple finial, and later horn-tipped ramrod, London proof marks; together with A 16-BORE FLINTLOCK PISTOL, SIGNED JNO. JONES & CO., LONDON, CIRCA 1820, with two-stage barrel signed 'LONDON', engraved tang, flat bevelled lock signed 'JNO. JONES & CO.', walnut full stock, engraved iron trigger-guard, brass ramrod-pipes, brass shield-shaped escutcheon, and later ramrod, Birmingham proof marks Respectively 7¾in (19.7cm) and 9in (22.8cm) barrels (2)
