A 19th century Chinese eight-piece famille rose celadon dessert service, comprising a pair of shell-shaped dishes, another kidney-shaped, and five graduating circular plates, painted with ho-ho birds, peonies, peaches and winged insects in polychrome enamels and gilt, the kidney-shaped dish, 27cm wide, Canton, c. 1840 Generally ok with age related wear, enamel loss and nibbles/chips to some rims. One has slight crack. This is a composed dessert service. Please see attached images.
