A 1 1/8 in. scale model spirit fired single cylinder two-speed three- shaft road locomotive, built by Markie, with copper smithie's boiler with normal fittings, single cylinder engine with trunk-type crosshead guide, mechanical lubricator, Stephenson's link reverse, two roadspeeds and disc flywheel, the chassis with details including rubber-tyred spoked wheels with brass hubcaps, worm and roller chain steering, belly tank and hand feed pump, winch drum, cable and fairleads, hand brake to offside rear wheel, spirit tank and burner, lamps, handrails and other details, finished in black and polished brightwork -- 13¾ x 22in.
