They vary from geometrical figures to flowers, animals, people, buildings, ships, landscapes, etc. Of many designs four similar drawings are included, arranged two by two to illustrate the effect of multiple tiles together. Toon van Beek also included many initials of Delft potters with their identifications, lists of potters buried in the churches of Delft, recipes for making Delftware, manuscript historical information on mill the Zeldenrust (milling pottery material, demolished in 1860), incl. a drawing and a photograph, newspaper clippings on De Porceleyne Fles, several memorabilia concerning Kees Tulk, and some photographs, group portraits of potters and portraits of Kees Tulk, Jan van Beek (Toon's father), Toon's brother Willem and Toon himself. A valuable and very nice collection for the history of tile-making in general and De Porceleyne Fles in particular. SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE CVII.
