(3rd part in 3 divisions with 3 title-pages), (30),103,(3); 88,(2); (8),84p., 2 engr. titles, 3 half-p. title-engrs., num. full-p. copperengr. and woodcut ills., woodcut textills., 19th cent. boards w. later leather over spine, 4to. - First six leaves strengthened in blank margins; occas. sl. fingersoiled. Corners rubbed. = Springer p.28f. Nice, frequently reprinted work on gardening, garden architecture, husbandry, veterinary medicine, beekeeping and cooking. The first part on garden architecture was written by Jan van der Groen, the private gardener of Prince William of Orange. The other parts were written by Pieter Nylandt, wellknown Amsterdam physician and pharmacist. The second part deals with the work that has to be done in the garden each month.
