The oldest document concerns the inheritance of "heerlijckheyt Nieucoop" after the death of the owner Johan (de Bruyn) Buytenwech to Philippina van Wassenaer, his brother's granddaughter. A later supplement to this document was added on verso in 1664 concerning the marriage of Philippina to Philips Jacob van Spangen, Heere van Spange "gedaen in hands van heer Johan de Witt Raedt-pensionaris ende Bewaerder vant grootzegel van Hollant ende Westvrieslant". AND three other manuscript documents on vellum (17th century) and paper (2x, 18th century) concerning members of the Wassenaer family.
