The Griswold Mfg. Co. made this machine for the Red Star Sanitary Vending Machine Co. of Davenport Iowa, c. 1914. Another classic cast iron peanut machine with flared globe and unusual dial operated coin entry. Each nickel gives you two cranks. This example has the variation of a round base as opposed to feet, and it is in original paint with all original parts and a 80% original Griswold decal. The paint is worn with areas of oxidation, however it has a great look and is a wonderful example of a good original Griswold. Working and with keys.
