Cotton, 23.25 x 30 in., printed flag with 44 stars arranged on canton as follows: central star surrounded by triple medallion of stars (6, 12, 21), and one star in each corner. The fly consists of 13 stripes. Wyoming was admitted as the 44th state in 1890. Although double and triple medallion configurations were more commonly found during the period of 1850-1870, they are rarely found acknowledging Wyoming's statehood. Condition: Few light spots on flag; light toning to flag; some edgewear.
