In a forge brass case with threaded bezel. 4.75 in. dia. 4) 3.25 in. black dial signed "Mark 1, Boat Clock, U.S. Navy, N-5877, 1941", has white incised hour numbers and sub seconds dial. Brass 8 day spring driven time only movement signed with Seth Thomas trade mark, numbered 8-42 and serial number 5184; has a platform lever escapement in running condition.
