Cotton, 29.5 x 46.5 in. (sight), printed flag with 37 stars configured in horizontal rows of 6/6/6/7/6/6. Ca 1867-1876. Framed, 32.5 x 49.5 in. The 37-star flag became official on July 4, 1867 with the admission of Nebraska. It would remain the official flag for close to a decade, until Colorado was admitted as the 38th state on August 1, 1876. Condition: Not examined outside frame, but overall an attractive flag.
