Group of three Soviet Russian silver and red enamel cigarette cases including: One case with the lid with an applied roundel decorated with a car and a banner for Avtodor surmounting the letters CCCP with a sunburst. Marked "AO" along the interior. One case with the lid decorated with the seal of the Soviet Union surrounded by the hammer, sickle, cog, and wheat above an engraving commemorating the Eighth Soviet Congress. Marked along the interior with a Soviet-era Artel stamp, Moscow. One case with the lid decorated with the symbols of the Soviet Union and the Cyrillic phrase "Hero of the Five-Year Plan," with a pink cabochon clasp. Marked along the interior with a Cyrillic "AB," Moscow, 20th century. Provenance: Property from the distinguished collection of Mr. James Lee Soffer, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
