With its homage to naval war hero Admiral Dewey, whose likeness can be seen on the front glass, the patriotic Dewey was appreciated by operators for its reliability and earning capacity. This example of a 25¢ Mills Dewey with emblem glue-chip front glass is in very good condition. With refinished quartered oak, original slightly faded color wheel, copper flashed castings, and coin head.
