Très bien équilibrée et agile grâce à sa direction assistée hydraulique, la petite Aston affiche un comportement très homogène mais accuse néanmoins près d'1 tonne 6 sur la balance, nettement plus qu'une 911 Carrera S ou qu'une Ferrari F430. Présentée en 2007, l'édition spéciale N400 est la seule série limitée basée sur le moteur 4.3L avec seulement 480 exemplaires produits (240 coupés et 240 roadsters). Elle commémore la participation de la marque aux 24 heures du Nürburgring et le V8 voit sa puissance atteindre 400 chevaux. Des modifications techniques seront apportées au châssis et des équipements spécifiques (entre autres, plaque numérotée sur le pas de portière et tracé du circuit repris sur le coffre) permettront d'identifier chaque exemplaire. Notre Aston Martin V8 Vantage N400 immatriculée pour la première fois en avril 2009 porte le n° 111/240. Son compteur affiche aujourd'hui un peu plus de 55 000 kms. Sa peinture de couleur noir bergwerk possède un bel éclat, elle s'associe parfaitement avec son intérieur en cuir noir à surpiqures rouges. Mécaniquement son V8 associé à une boite automatique fonctionne parfaitement, d'ailleurs un gros entretien a été réalisé récemment comprenant: vidange moteur, changement de la courroie accessoire, des 8 bougies, des plaquettes de frein arrière et de la serrure de capot. Cette auto est prête à prendre la route elle n'attend plus que vous pour rejoindre la Nordschleife!
